PHLEBOTOMIST SERVICE

Phlebotomy:

Blood Tests

Services delivered by our Doctors, Nurses and trained Phlebotomist .
These tests will be requested by your GP, unless they are part of regular monitoring of specific diseases/medication
Following up results once tests are done is of utmost importance:
- We aim to contact you by text or call* as soon as results are received
- We aim to contact you by text or call you about any abnormal results that need further discussion
- You must opt-in to receive texts from the surgery and complete the text message consent form
- If you have not heard from us about your test results within 2 weeks, please call us on 027 50504

Insurance Medicals & Occupational Health

We provide an Occupational Health service for a number of local businesses and firms. The service includes carrying out pre-employment medicals, assessing employees who have injuries in the workplace, giving vaccinations etc

18 years and older
Eligible Conditions: Heart Failure, Ischaemic Heart Disease, A Fib, previous stroke, Asthma, COPD and Diabetes

Hair and nail problems, Keloid scarring, Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

Dr Paul O’Sullivan has a special interest in Dermatology having completed a Diploma in Practical Dermatology as well as the Certificate in Dermoscopy from Cardiff University.

He uses an instrument called a Dermatoscope as part of his practice to review and investigate any suspicious skin lesions or moles.

Dermoscopy is a widely used tool to help differentiate Melanoma and early skin cancers from other skin lesions. This has been shown clinically to improve diagnosis of Melanomas and reduce excision of benign lesions.
